National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)
About NIRF Ranking 2017:
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was approved by the MHRD and launched by Honourable Minister of Human Resource Development on 29th September 2015.
This framework outlines a methodology to rank institutions across the country. The methodology draws from the overall recommendations broad understanding arrived at by a Core Committee set up by MHRD, to identify the broad parameters for ranking various universities and institutions. The parameters broadly cover “Teaching, Learning and Resources,” “Research and Professional Practices,” “Graduation Outcomes,” “Outreach and Inclusivity,” and “Perception”.
For India Rankings – 2017, though the main ranking parameters remain the same, few significant changes are suggested in few sub-parameters. Also, this year every large institution will be getting a common overall rank as well as a discipline specific rank as applicable. Details of ranking process can be found Here.
Based on the above framework Our college has been ranked in the top 200 Engineering Colleges in the country.
National Board of Accreditation (NBA - India)
About NBA Accreditation:
The National Board of Accreditation (NBA), India was initially established by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) under section 10(u) of AICTE act, in the year 1994, for periodic evaluations of technical institutions & programs basis according to specified norms and standards as recommended by AICTE council.
NBA in its present form came into existence as an autonomous body with effect from 7th January 2010, with the objective of Assurance of Quality and Relevance of Education, especially of the programs in professional and technical disciplines, i.e., Engineering and Technology, Management, Architecture, Pharmacy and Hospitality through the mechanism of accreditation of programs offered by technical institutions.
NBA has introduced a new process, parameters and criteria for accreditation. These are in line with the best international practices and oriented to assess the outcomes of the programme.
Based on the new Process, Parameters and Criteria, three Programs of Our Institute have been Accredited.
India Today Ranking - 2019
Every Year India Today Conducts Best Colleges Survey to provide it's readers with all the inputs to make an informed choice from over 50,000 higher education institutes. In the 2019 Survey, they have made their methodology more stringent and widened the net to include many more public sector and private sector Engineering Colleges. In collaboration with Delhi based Research Agency MDRA, the survey intents to set several mile-stones. They have carefuly selected more than 112 + attributes in each stream to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparison of Colleges. These performance indicators were clubbed into five broad parameters - Intake Quality & Goveranance, Academic Excellence, Infrastructure & Living Experience, Personality & Leadership Development and Career Progression & Placement.
Based on the above model, Our Institute has been Ranked 91 in Private Engineering Colleges across India.
Times of India Ranking 2018
Times of India conducted a research to Identify and Rank top Engineering Colleges in India. The research had three major modules i.e. Desk Research, Facutal Survey, and Perceptual Rating survey followed by Scientifically developed Data Analysis and Ranking Process.
We have been ranked 77 among the top Private Engineering Colleges in India.
The Week Ranking 2019
THE WEEK has been conducting the Best Colleges Survey in association with Hansa Research since 2009 to rank the top colleges in India. This year, the study was done across ten disciplines—arts, science, commerce, engineering, medicine, dental, law, hotel management, fashion technology and mass communication—and covered 24 cities.
As many as 1,043 academic experts, 2,460 current students, 953 aspiring students and 30 recruiters took part in the primary survey. The sample was selected ensuring proper representation of all cities and disciplines. The respondents were asked to nominate and rank the 25 top colleges in India and top colleges in their city. Of the 4,486 interviews, 119 were qualitative. This helped get an in-depth understanding of the reasons for the rankings.
Perceptual score was calculated based on the number of nominations and the actual ranks received.
Factual score was calculated using the information collected from the colleges. This included age, accreditation and infrastructure, faculty, placements, extracurricular activities, entry standard, teaching-learning process, and (for medicine and dental) hospital association.
We have been ranked 89 among the top Private Engineering Institutes in India and ranked 15 in the West Zone.
Education World Ranking 2019
With almost 90% of the 3415 Engineering Colleges promoted and Managed by Private entrepreneurs, it made eminent good sense to seperate the sheep from goats among the country's Private Engineering Colleges, to enable parents and students to assess and evaluate them. Against the backdrop of plunging standards of Engineering Education - especially among un-supervised Private Colleges which have mushroomed across the country - Education world took the lead to publish PAN India Rankings of the Country's most respected Engineering Colleges. Education World 2018-19 Survey was conducted by Delhi based Center for Forecasting and Research Pvt. Ltd. Based on Nine Parameters of excellence including Placements, Competence of Faculty, Research & Innovation, Curriculum & Pedagogy, Industry Interface, Value for Money, Infrastructure, Faculty Welfare, Leadership & Governance.
